Here are some of the government agencies putting finance behind the effort:
National Science Foundation (NSF) – NSF will invest over $24M in CyberCorps®: Scholarship for Service (SFS) awards over the next four years.
National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) – NIST will award up to $3,600,000 for Regional Alliances and Multistakeholder Partnerships to Stimulate (RAMPS) cybersecurity education and workforce development projects.
Department of Labor (DOL) – The Department of Labor announced a $65 million award in formula and competitive grants to 45 states and territories to develop and scale registered apprenticeship programs in cybersecurity and other critical sectors.
